Diploma in Practical Conveyancing Stages 1 to 4

Our four courses are designed for anyone who already has a background in conveyancing whether it be as a secretary, trainee lawyer or qualified lawyer.

Commencing with stage 1, you will learn how to check a title and search results, raise enquiries, dealing with mortgage conditions, the common defects that can be covered by way of indemnity insurance, management companies, and reporting to your client in readiness for exchange.

Our stage 2 course goes into more detail about some of the more complex aspects of conveyancing. For example, properties which have a private water supply, private drainage system, oil tank, solar panels, air source heat pump, etc.  It also looks at the parties such as acting for clients under a Power of Attorney or having to appoint a second trustees. It also touches on the basics of Leasehold conveyancing and new build transactions.

As leasehold and newbuild transactions are more complex, we have dedicated a whole stage to these, and you will find a comprehensive course on these in our Stage 3 course.

At Stage 4 we focus on the unusual and higher risk elements of conveyancing.  This includes rivers and shorelines, freehold flats, listed buildings, adverse possession, auctions, complex leaseholds and creating, modifying and extinguishing easements and covenants.

They can then click on each course for more details of the content, which I would put in a bullet point list.
